Hindsight is of course always 20/20, but one of the things I like to do after Fogle Bowl is to look back at our draft and see what a hypothetical "perfect" draft would look like - picking the eventual highest scorer available at that point in the draft. There are a few caveats - I've restricted the maximum number of players from the same team to two, as I doubt any Fogle Bowl manager would select three players from the same team. Additionally, I chose the #8 draft slot, and the results may vary had I looked at another spot in the draft. So let's take a look at the results from someone drafting at the #8 spot who actually knew what he was doing, and wasn't foolishly picking players from teams in the Ohio Valley and Missouri Valley conferences. 691 points!
