While Pitt basketball deserves its share of criticism for bowing out much too early once again in the NCAA tourney, you gotta love the level of hate dished out by Wick. He goes beyond basketball and denigrates the school itself, and even the interim football coach who was dismissed after a domestic violence charge. And this is coming from a guy who is a fan of a school who recklessly sent a student to his death despite being previously aware of the danger. I guess that when the last time you cashed in Fogle Bowl was the 1990s, and you're on your way to yet another bottom 5 finish after losing half of your players in the first two days, the only thing left to do is resort to spewing hate & vitriol, eh? So on behalf of everyone else, I'll say once again, thanks for the donation. And you keep staying classy, Wick.

I am confused by the banner in your signature. Are you trying to tell everyone that you are a fan of the NHL disabled list? That seems like an odd thing to root for.

Wow, your entire rebuttal consists of snarking on my signature file, which I failed to update from last year on a message board which gets used for ~3 weeks each year, and almost exclusively by me? Geez, I don't know if I can recover from that burn. And how about that Notre Dame team, huh? At least my team was in it until the end of the game; for a team that was in the discussion for a #1 seed, that was an awfully pathetic performance yesterday against a double digit seed. The Fighting Irish must have been out drinking Saturday night, because it looked like they didn't even show up to the game. And now Wick doesn't even have his mancrush Ben Hansbrough to look forward to in the Second Chance Draft - karma can be a real bitch, huh? ;D Edit: and speaking of Notre Dame athletes drinking, how about this display of a terrific example of the type of decision-makers this fine institution of higher learning is producing...

You'll be happy to know that, after careful consideration, I removed the page you found so offensive. Hopefully you find this one more to your liking.
I don't know why you use this as a forum to air your grievances. Nobody ever looks at this page. You should use the main page like I do.
Tootles!

26 views (and counting) seem to indicate that people ARE reading this, and you are more drunk than a Notre Dame wide receiver if you think this is a two horse race. Furthermore, San Diego State barely advanced and should get blown out by UConn...it's gonna be hilarious when you find yourself down in the basement when all this is said and done. A wise man once said, "It ain't over until the fat lady sings." Coach: "What are doing singing already?Fat Chick: "Oh yeah, duh, Wick!"

www.pittsburghlive.com/x/pittsburghtrib/sports/college/s_699381.htmlOne good thing about going to Pittsburgh. Pitt's football irrelevance means when you run somebody over, cause serious bodily harm, and flee the scene, it doesn't make national news like it does if you run a stop sign and attend the University of Notre Dame. So you have that going for you. Which is nice.

How lame that you have to go dig up an incident from September of 2010 about an unknown redshirt freshman.
As opposed to your star wide receiver AND the irresponsible death the school caused currently making national news.
Face it, you've lost this one, Wick. Badly, I might add.

Oh, I'm sorry. I didn't realize you thought we were actually having a rational discussion. If you would be so kind as to go back and re-read your posts, surely you can understand my confusion.

Let me see if I can bring some clarity and resolution to this discussion. I think we can all agree that since both of these institutions' men's basketball programs are members of the Big East conference they are consequently irrelevant.
I'm nothing if not a consensus builder.

I'm nothing if not a consensus builder. Because a Big East team only won the national championship. Yeah, irrelevant.
